Cynde Georgen

Historic Program Manager

A graduate of the University of Wyoming (BS '78) with a degree in History, Cynde has worked at Trail End since 1988 (Site Superintendent since 1995). Prior to that, she spent ten years working primarily in journalism, publishing and broadcasting in Wyoming, Montana, Utah and California. During her time at Trail End, Cynde has worked extensively on a variety of interpretive projects, including the House Refurnishing Plan, the Home Is Where the History Is educational resource manual, and the Whole-House Exhibit Program. She is the author of One Cowboy's Dream: John B. Kendrick, His Family, Home and Ranching Empire.

Sharie Mooney

Curator

A native Kansan, Sharie has worked at Trail End since May 2006. She received her Bachelors in General Studies in History from the University of Kansas ('04) and her Masters in Historical Administration from Eastern Illinois University ('06). Prior to Trail End, she worked as interim director of the John Wornall House Museum in Kansas City, Missouri, and as the Collections Manager/Education Supervisor at Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site outside of Charleston, Illinois. She is now in charge of Trail End's artifact collections, as well as development of the site's volunteer and education programs.

Rod Adams

Maintenance & Grounds

A man of many talents, Rod is a graduate of Sheridan High School and an alumnus of Sheridan College. Following three years with the United States Army in Germany, Italy and Vietnam, Rod returned to Sheridan to work in the construction and facilities maintenance trades. Aside from being a talented photographer, Rod is also skilled in woodworking and turning, gardening, and innovative equipment repair. He joined the Trail End staff in 2003 and is responsible for the beautifully manicured lawns, healthy gardens, well-maintained buildings, and nearly all the working equipment on the site.
